Google gets Youtube a Bulletproof deal with MGM

Google and Youtube

Google Inc.'s (NASDAQ:GOOG) Youtube.com is now featuring full length movies from MGM and the first movie is Bulletproof Monk starring Chow Yun-Fat.

Here's the movie if you have 1 hour and 45 minutes to spare:

YouTube expects to reach similar agreements soon with other movie studios, they already have content-sharing partnerships with television networks like CBS, BBC Worldwide, Fox, Showtime and HBO.

The YouTube deal would enable MGM to both make money on such less-sought-after content and also promote its DVD and theatrical releases

Google needs all the help it can get this day, its stock price is still at a 3 year low, but for long term investors, this picking up Google shares in the $300 range may be the perfect entry point.  After all the average analyst target price for Google is still above $500 a share, and if they have any clue about where the company will be one year from today, that's a $200 gain from where the stock is currently trading.
