Medtronic, Inc. (NYSE:MDT) got a boost today as Noble Financial upgraded the stock, lifting its outlook from Hold to Buy.  No price target was set by the analyst firm, but the stock’s price shot up today to close at $43.25 a share, a strong +$2.94  (+7.29%) from yesterday’s close.  It powered through some resistance it was experiencing at $40 level.

Analog Devices, Inc. (NYSE:ADI) got a double-whammy today when both GC Research and Broadpoint AmTech Research upgraded the stock.  GC went from a Neutral to Overweight rating and put their price target at $34.  Broadpoint gave a slightly stronger message as they upgraded ADI from Neutral to Buy, and set a price target of $35.  The stock has been performing well and surged today on large volume, closing at $29.74 and right at a key short-term resistance level set back in early September.

After the stock has plummeting in stock price throughout October and November, the analyst firm Soleil bumped up Tellabs, Inc. (NASDAQ:TLAB) on their buy list.  They upgraded the stock from a Hold to a Buy and set a strong price target at $7.25.  The stock is currently trading at $5.76 a share and has been losing ground lately.  Hopefully the upgrade by Soleil will signal to investors that the stock is worth considering as a bullish candidate.

Good luck to investors.
