New 52-Week Highs for Shares of Alaska Air Group, Oshkosh and Drugstore.com (ALK, OSK, DSCM)

52-Week Highs

Friday saw new 52-week highs for shares of Alaska Air Group (NYSE:ALK), Oshkosh Corporation (NYSE:OSK) and Drugstore.com, inc. (NASDAQ:DSCM).

Drugstore.com, Inc. (NASDAQ:DSCM) shares peaked at $3.44 on Friday and this past week DSCM has increased 17%.  Drugstore shares have traded as low as 65 cents during the past 12 months but it appears the worst may now be behind them.

Last week Drugstore.com, inc. (DSCM), a leading online retailer of health, beauty, vision and pharmacy products in the United States, announced they are now shipping to customers in China, India, and Brazil, plus 50 additional countries worldwide.

More than 3.5 billion international customers can shop for non-prescription health, beauty and wellness products on http://international.drugstore.com with pricing in their local currency.

 

Alaska Air Group (NYSE:ALK) hit a new 52-week high of $32.19 on Friday then finished the day at $32.02 a share.  Alaska Air shares jumped 5.7% Friday after reporting November traffic increased 5.5%, boosting occupancy on its planes.

The Seattle-based carrier flew 1.48 billion revenue passenger miles in November, or one passenger flown one mile. In the month of November Alaska Air shares are up 25%.

 

Oshkosh Corporation (NYSE:OSK) shares touched $41.99 and YTD the stock has increased 368%.    Oshkosh Corporation (Oshkosh) is a designer, manufacturer and marketer of a range of specialty vehicles and vehicle bodies, including defense trucks, access equipment, fire & emergency vehicles and concrete mixers and refuse collection vehicles.

During Friday's trading session Oshkosh Corporation saw about 7,400 puts and nearly 12,000 calls change hands, more than tripling its average daily volume of fewer than 2,300 puts and 2,200 calls.
