Rite Aid Corp. shares now just 25 Cents
Got a quarter? Ask any Rite Aid Corp (NYSE:RAD) shareholder, you can do an even swap right now for your pocket change, RAD shares are 25 Cents USD today.
Its hard to believe but Rite Aid Corp. still has a market cap over $200 million, but that's not saying much these days. Rite Aid is one of the nation's largest drugstore chains. On January 24, 2009, the company operated 4,907 stores compared to 5,054 stores in the like period a year ago.
RAD shares are down 90% over the last year and -35% in just the last 3 months. Rite Aid has bonds trading at yields of more than 30%, meaning they would have to pay about that much to sell or refinance debt. There's only so long Rite Aid can continue to trade on the NYSE, if they don't get the stock price back up, its delisted and on to the OTC BB.
We would love to tell you to throw down a Quarter or two and take a chance, but there's nothing great to go on here, so Rite Aid Corp, welcome to the Penny Stock Game.
