Today's Losers: Helios, Krispy Kreme and Autodesk (HMNA, KKD, ADSK)

Bear Market - Stocks Fall

The biggest losers today are Krispy Kreme Doughnuts (NYSE:KKD), Helios & Matheson North America Inc (NASDAQ:HMNA), and Autodesk (NASDAQ:ADSK) all down 11%+ as traders head towards the exit and lock in gains.

Krispy Kreme Doughnuts (NYSE:KKD) shares are down 12% and trading at $3.41 a share.  Hard to believe but YTD Krispy shares are still up over 100%, they've managed to stage a big comeback in 2009.  Sellers are out in force today as KKD's volume is already at 2 million shares traded versus the usual 512,000.  Krispy Kreme hasn't had any big news today, this move out could be some large institutions moving positions out after having such an incredible run.  Should any stories break on Krispy we'll be the first to report them.

Helios & Matheson North America Inc (NASDAQ:HMNA) shares are down 19% today and hanging out at $1.36 a share.  Helios shares can jump on a moments notice thanks to the tiny amount of volume that is traded on a daily basis of a few thousand shares.  In the last 52-weeks Helios shares have gone from 1 Cent to $2.18, this stock trades like a Penny stock.

Autodesk (NASDAQ:ADSK) is down 11% but only down $1.30 from its recent 52-week high.  Today's selloff is fresh from yesterday's decent earnings call but the company shot itself in the foot after they indicated they will not be providing specific revenue or earnings per share guidance for fiscal 2011 at this time.  Despite beating the street and guiding revenue close to the analyst estimates.

ADSK in the fourth quarter issued earnings guidance of $0.19 to $0.24 per share vs. consensus of $0.25 and revenue guidance of $420 million to $440 million vs. the $433.5 million consensus. For fiscal year 2010, Autodesk expects earnings of $0.88 to $0.93 vs. the $0.90 consensus and expects revenue of $1.68 billion to $1.70 billion vs. the $1.69 billion consensus.
