Good vibes for Artie fans as news has been sparse over the past few weeks, but Rosie O'Donnell released a morsel of information on the status of the Howard Stern Show sidekick during her appearance on Thursday's Late Night with Craig Ferguson.

He's doing better," Rosie O'Donnell said of Artie Lange. "He's got a lot of trouble with addiction and depression in his life, and his dad when he was young and he tried to take his own life, and it really really was so painful to everyone who loved him including Howard."

Rosie O'Donnell didn't elaborate on what exactly a "better" Artie Lange looked like or give any details on her source of information on Lange's health status. O'Donnell instead switched the focus to what Howard Stern's reaction to Artie Lange's suicide attempt revealed about the self-proclaimed "King of All Media"
