Blockbuster Inc. Shares Hit 5 Cents
Blockbuster Inc. (PINK:BLOKA) shares hit a new all-time low today, a dismal 5 Cents a share, that's right, one U.S. nickel.
BLOCKBUSTER OR BUST
Its bust this time. There's no use throwing your pennies at Blockbuster, the company is most likely headed toward bankruptcy (according to the WSJ). According to terms of the restructuring plan, the company will not be closing its doors, but will rather retreat to a few locations while focusing more on digital distribution.
Blockbuster has over $900 million in debt on its balance sheet and its creditors are still haggling over a few small issues. If you believe Blockbuster can stage a comeback, wait until the company goes through bankruptcy, otherwise you are better off throwing away your pocket change in the garbage.
